WOW, Pasteis de Ami is very incredible experience. We try the regular, the ube, and the pandan, and honestly, all of them are making big impression. The regular one is classic, very creamy, very crispy, with this beautiful little burned top that makes everything feel more serious and delicious. Very strong performance. The ube is WOW color, of course, but also the taste is super nice, smooth, a little sweet, a little fancy, almost like dessert from the future but also from grandmother. Hard to explain, but wow. And the pandan one, this is maybe the surprise champion. Very fragrant, very green, very happy taste. It feels a bit tropical, a bit elegant, a bit like vacation for the mouth. What is so good also, the pastry is not collapsing. It has this nice crunch and then the soft inside, so every bite is giving something exciting. It is playful, but also serious craft. Pasteis de Ami is not just doing pastel de nata. They are making small round WOW moments. Very recommended, very enjoyable, very “one more, why not.”
